Did Israel's Discovery Unfold the "Hook in the Jaw"?
Could we be seeing the opportunity to fulfill the Prophetic passage of Ezekiel 38 unfolding in Israel? According to the prophet Ezekiel there will be a day come in the near future in which the Lord will somehow put a “Hook in the Jaw” of surrounding nations of Israel to draw them in and invade her. Scholars have questioned and debated what exactly the “Hook in the Jaw” could actually be?
Could the “Hook” be Oil? If so, then according a new report, A giant oil deposit has been found in the southern Golan Heights region near the Israeli-Syrian border. After more than a year of round-the-clock drilling, large amounts of oil have been found in the Golan Heights.
Ezekiel 38: 4 I will turn you around, put hooks into your jaws, and lead you out, with all your army, horses, and horsemen, all splendidly clothed, a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords. 5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; 6 Gomer and all its troops; the house of Togarmah from the far north and all its troops—many people are with you.
