Russian military engineers recently reconstructed a floating bridge across the Euphrates River. Previous temporary bridge attempts by Russian military were washed away in 2018. The bridge connects at Deir ez-Zur, Syria

It is the first bridge connecting the two banks of the Euphrates River after the destruction of all Syrian permanent bridges over the previous years by USA led coallition forces.

The River Euphrates will play a big role in last day events.  The Book of Revelations Chapter 16 and verse 12 prophecies the great river will dry up allowing nations from the east to cross and come fight against the Antichrist.  "And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared."
