SOUTHWEST UNITED STATES MEGADROUGHT WARNING!

From US Drought Monitor

Almost half of the United States continues to experience severe drought conditions. A vast region of the western United States, extending from California to Idaho, is in the grips of the greatest megadrought observed in the past 1,200 years. The finding means the phenomenon is no longer a threat for millions to worry about in the future, but is already here. A megadrought is a severe drought that occurs across a broad region for a long duration, typically multiple decades.

Huge metropolitan areas are struggling to meet water demands for even the most basic of necessities. Crops are on a collision course for disaster. Keep in mind that most fruits are supplied from Central Valley in California. It supplies 1/4 of the nations food and 40% of fruits and nuts
