Intense Wisconsin Illinois Heat Wave Buckling Roads

A  heat wave that's gripped the Midwest for days and will only grow more intense by next week is taking its toll on roads across the region, creating hazards for motorists as roads buckle. The combination of prolonged intense heat and humidity has added stress on highways and local roads across the region.
The National Weather Service's said that temperatures in a warm air mass over the Midwest will climb into the 80s and low 90s on Wednesday from the Corn Belt eastward to the central Appalachians.
The Illinois Department of Transportation warned motorists on Monday to watch for damaged roadways that may buckle during this intense stretch of heat.
“One of the hottest weeks of the year means the potential for pavement failures will increase,” said Omer Osman, acting transportation secretary. “At IDOT, we have the necessary staffing and materials in place to make repairs as quickly as possible."

More Blasts In Iran

Six explosions have happened at strategic locations in Iran over the last few weeks. Early Tuesday morning two Iranians were killed and three injured in a blast at a factory south of Tehran, IRNA reported.
Like with other recent explosions and fires, official statements downplayed this latest blast as an accident. "Human error was the cause of the blast in a factory... The explosion that was caused by some workers' negligent handling of oxygen tanks.... was so powerful that the walls of a factory nearby were also totally destroyed," a local official stated.
Several mysterious fires and explosions have broken out at sites in Iran lately, including explosions at a weapons depot, power station and a medical facility.
The incidents are now coming with such frequency that the question of foreign sabotage is impossible to ignore, also considering Israeli leaders have over the past year vowed they'll do anything to ensure the Islamic Republic can't possibly develop a nuke.

Israel Strikes Iranian Nuclear Site

Israel hit an Iranian nuclear facility with a powerful bomb last week that caused “significant damage” and set back Tehran’s nuclear program by months
Iran admitted the blast had caused serious damage to the site as satellite images were released last week. “We first learned that, fortunately, there were no casualties as a result of the incident, but financial damages incurred to the site due to incident were considerable,” said Iran’s atomic agency spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi. He also admitted the damaged building was indeed a centrifuge center and not an .industrial shed
It is believed the bomb was planted inside the building, not a fire as originally reported. Israel’s Defense Minister Benny Gantz remained tight-lipped but didn’t deny the allegations outright.

New Type Of Swine Flu Warning!

Researchers have warned of new swine flu strain found among pigs in China. They have warned it carries all of the hallmarks of a global pandemic as it can infect humans. At this point there is no vaccine for this strain.
From the  BBC:
So far, it hasn’t posed a big threat, but Prof Kin-Chow Chang and colleagues who have been studying it, say it is one to keep an eye on.
The virus, which the researchers call G4 EA H1N1, can grow and multiply in the cells that line the human airways.
They found evidence of recent infection starting in people who worked in abattoirs and the swine industry in China.
“Right now we are distracted with coronavirus and rightly so. But we must not lose sight of potentially dangerous new viruses,” Prof Kin-Chow Chang of the UK’s Nottingham University told BBC, adding that we should “not ignore” the recent discovery.

Cancer Treatment With Baking Soda

Cancer is a common word in almost all families living in the United States. It could be said that cancer is a plague decimating the population.

It is a well known fact that cancer thrives in acidic environments. Low body pH promotes the growth of cancer. Our modern diet is filled with low pH liquids such as soft drinks, orange juice and even some nutritional drinks marketed as "healthy"

The way that acidity seems to protect cancer is not fully understood.  It seems that cytotoxic T-cells, which may attack cancer cells under normal conditions, are inactivated in an acid extracellular fluid. Also, the type of acidity that cancer produces stimulates vascular endothelial growth factor and angiogenesis. This is like a highway project, which enables a tumor to build the blood vessels that it needs to bring the nutrients for it to survive.  So the tumor creates an environment in which it can then exist comfortably.

At a pH of about 10, sodium bicarbonate is an antidote to this acidit…
